Zenglen’s Album

It is rare to see a group of musician that will last long and it is even rarer seeing a band last longer than necessary. It is either they have lost their charm to their fans or the fans just got bored of them or other members have stopped doing music and venture to another business or other member have gone solo or joined another group. But the Zenglen has proved this common belief wrong. For more than twenty years since the band’s inception on mid 1980’s up to now, the Zenglen continued to control the Kompa music not only in the Republic of Haiti but as well as to Zenglen’s new found hometown Miami, Florida. The reason behind this is Zenglen makes an album that is worth your time listening. Unlike other musicians who will just make songs for the sake of making it, Zenglen has different philosophy. They made each album special from the other and treat each song as a master piece worthy of enough attention and time. Zenglen always make sure that every piece is not a junk. This is evident if you listen to their albums. You can really tell that each album has been made with meticulous process. Namely, An Nuo Alez released in 1991, On Line released in 1998, Easy Kompa released in 2001, 5 Etwal released in 2004 and other albums of Zenglen, Haitian Music.
